ZOO - AROUND KUALA LUMPUR

The Zoo Negara,
 is the National Zoo of Malaysia. 
This zoo was officially 
opened to the public 
in 
1963.

With more than 5000 animals from over 400 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish, this ZOO NEGARA can be considered as one of THE BEST & MOST EXCITING ZOO IN SOUTHEAST ASIA.

With great surrounding like AQUARIUM DISPLAY, PRIMATE PARK, REPTILE HOUSE, INSECTS.

With some 5,000 animals from over 400 species of mammals, amphibians, birds, reptiles and fish, Zoo Negara is considered as one of the most exciting zoos in Southeast Asia. The zoo also has an impressive aquarium display, a primate park and a reptile house."


Features more than 400 species of Malaysian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. 
This National Zoo is located about 13 km from Kuala Lumpur City Center.




In the Zoo are numerous paths meandering between wooded groves and tree-lined enclaves where the animal enclosures are located. Among the more exotic exhibits are the Sumatran tiger, orang-utans and gibbons. All are extremely rare outside this part of the world. There are also scheduled elephant shows in the elephant Amphitheatre and a "Multi-animal show in the "Main Amphitheatre". There's also a possibility make a ride on an elephant.
